Gestern war es Donnerstag. Es war der einundzwanzigste Juli 2011.

Heute ist es Freitag (Gott sei Dank) der zweiundzwanzigste Juli 2011.

Morgen und Übermorgen ist es Samstag und Sonntag, das heißt wir haben frei – es ist unser Wochenende!!!

Dann kommt schon wieder der Montag, der Dienstag sowie der Mittwoch.

Mit der Pünktlichkeit hat mein Mann ein Problem..

Daher sage ich ihm oft nicht die richtige Anfangszeit einer Veranstaltung, sondern gebe ihm eine frühere Zeit.

Damit verlassen wir das Haus etwas früher als normal, kommen jedoch pünktlich an.

Gute Idee von mir, oder??? J

Wie heißt das Sprichwort „es nützt nichts sich zu beklagen – es hört sowieso keiner zu“???

Aber in meinen Augen hilft es sich hier und dort zu beklagen; man fühlt sich viel, viel besser wenn man über Probleme sprechen kann, auch wenn man oft keine Hilfe bekommt.

Ich hatte eine Woche Urlaub.
Als ich heute im Büro ankam, fühlte ich mich - nach genossener Freizeit - ziemlich jung.
Nach fast siebenhundert E-Mails und tausend Fragen hat sich das ganz schnell von jung auf alt geändert.
Heute Nacht schlafe ich bestimmt besonders gut.

Es ist komisch an was man sich so schnell gewöhnt.
In Deutschland ging ich nie ohne Einkaufstasche oder Einkaufsnetz einkaufen.
Hier im Amerika bekommt man Plastikbeutel und obwohl ich auch mehrere Einkaufstaschen im Auto habe, vergesse ich immer
wieder sie mit in das Geschäft zu nehmen.

Medikamente, bevor Ihre Versicherung einen Pfennig zahlt, hihi
Daher am besten ganz still stehen, damit Sie keine Verletzungen erleiden müssen.

You go to the doctor or to the hospital.
There, you are treated and pay yourself bloody for the treatment and the prescribed
medications, before your insurance pays one penny, haha
Therefore, it’s best to stand very still, so that you don’t suffer any injuries.

zwischen

Das Wort des Tages ist “zwischen“

Der Straßenverkehr heute Morgen war einfach schrecklich (Schießerei, Unfälle und Waldbrand).
Die Autos standen mehr als sie fuhren.
Plötzlich fuhr ein Fahrrad einfach zwischen beiden Spuren an allen Fahrzeugen vorbei.
Ich muss sagen, ich beneidete den Fahrradfahrer sehr, denn für meine 14 Meilen benötigte ich 1 Stunde und 25 Minuten um das Werk zu erreichen.

The cars stood more than they drove.
Suddenly, a bicycle simply drove between both lanes past all vehicles.
I have to say, I envied the bicycle rider very much, because for my 14 miles I required 1 hour and 25 minutes to reach the plant.

Mein Bruder kam noch nie.
